[There is a long pause in her reply, a small thoughtful hum that could barely be herd. Hmm.]

And what if they are willing to sit their differences aside? Times then and now are different, yes? We can't go into this aggressively. I'm not saying we don't keep an eye on them or be careful, but maybe we should at least take a step back and see what they do?

[and with a single beat, she adds more swiftly.] Unless they start getting friendly with Dooku.

Violence is a last resort, always. Don't worry, Ahsoka, I'm not going to go after them, lightsaber in hand. Not yet.

But yeah. We have to be vigilant. As vigilant as we are with Dooku. I just - should we be warning people? Or would that just... backfire on us?

I stand with you on that. Violence as a last resort, but being vigilant is important.

As for... warning? [she hummed again, thoughtful.] I have the feeling it would backfire, as much as I hate to say it. It could be taken as the Jedi, or the rest of us, being abrasive or confrontational. Even if truthful.

Both of them have said they do not wish their war to be brought here. They have made contact with the network in a calm way. If either of us go out of our way to 'warn' about their kind, we'll come off as picking a fight.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of, too. But I feel like we can't do nothing, either. I don't want to sit by and watch innocent people fall prey to the Dark Side. How do we mitigate that?

[ Maybe, just maybe, he's hoping to prevent something like what almost happened to Ezra, once. ]

I'm... unsure. [she admitted, feeling a bit uneasy with that. For a moment she wished Obi-wan was still here. He would have had a better idea of how to handle this, wouldn't he?]

I understand your problems with Anakin here, but using him as an example, he's trying to be different here than what he becomes. What if the two of these beings are interested in the same thing?

On the other hand, to trust them blindly could put someone in danger. [ It was said more in a whisper to herself. A frustrated little breath was released before she finalized thought her own talking through this.]

Perhaps we would be best to contact those that are close to us. Make sure the word is out to be cautious. Meanwhile, I would like to try and talk to them in person.

Anakin, whatever my personal issues with him, is a different situation. He's trying to prevent a future that, for him, hasn't happened yet. He's not a sith lord. He's trying not to become one.

These two... they're already down that path. I don't get any sense that they regret that path. They might try to bring others down it with them.

[ Yeah, he's wishing Obi-Wan was still here, too. Or his own Master, Depa Billaba. Or... anyone. Anyone wiser and smarter and more experienced with this kind of thing. ]

But you're probably right. We should stick with the people we know - the people who will trust what we say. Try to get the word out quietly. I'm most worried for the people who aren't from our galaxy, who haven't grown up hearing stories about this stuff. Who don't have a frame of reference.

[She's glad to hear his thoughts on Anakin actually.]

I'm not getting a sense of regret for their path either. I'm more concerned about Count Dooku influencing them more than anything.

[she let out a breath again, considering it.] Anakin is still a Jedi and was just as brilliant as Master Kenobi. I might check with him to see what his thoughts are on this. Though, between you and me, I am also concerned with how he is going to deal with their presence.

There is so much we don't know about them or their time, and no way to get that information.

You do whatever you think is best. Somebody should probably talk to Luke, too. I think that's all of us, at least Force-sensitives.

[ They're nearly outnumbered, now, if not actually so. It's enough to give Kanan a constant, low-key headache. ]

And I don't trust these guys to be truthful - or rather, their perspective on the things they do might be honest, but I wouldn't count on it to be accurate.

It might be honest, but with the idea that they might be so far removed from our own timeline, we have no idea how different they might act from the rest of us.
